Where will charity trekker Brian Burnie be on the 5th March 2020?  
Forecast Brian’s location – Simply name the town, village, beauty-spot or point of interest where you think Brian will be when he stops walking at 12.00 Noon on 5th March, 2020. Winner receives £500 (donated by Brian). Entries close 31st December 2019, each entry costs £1 and you can have as many goes as you wish! If there is more than one correct answer, the prize is shared. Winner notified by 31/3/2020. All proceeds go to the charity to help set-up free cancer patient transport hubs in Great Britain and Ireland.

The BIG Bluebell Sweepstake
Brian Burnie set off from the Baltic, Gateshead, with Bluebell bus on a marathon 7,000 mile walk around the coasts of Great Britain and Ireland on 5th March, 2018.   Exactly one year later he had walked all the way up the east coast of Scotland, across the top then down the west coast, back into England and into Wales! A total of 3,000 miles.  Since then he has crossed from Holyhead to Dublin, and is walking Ireland.

But where will he be on the 5th March 2020?  
That is what we are asking you to forecast.   Simply name the town, village, beauty-spot or point of interest where you think Brian will be when he stops walking at 12.00 Noon on 5th March, 2020. (No countries or counties can be named).

 

Rules:
1. Name: The name of the Competition shall be “The Bluebell Sweepstake” (Sweepstake).

2. Duration of Sweepstake: The Sweepstake begins on 18th July, 2019 at 09.00, and ends on 31st December, 2019 at 17.30.   No entries will be accepted outside this period.

3. Administration: The Sweepstake is administered by Bluebell Bus Cancer Patient Care, 157 Great North Road, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 2DR

4. Acceptance of Rules: By entering into the Sweepstake all participants accept and agree to abide by these Rules and the Administrators decision shall be final in all matters and issues.

5. Prize: The Sweepstake will award one prize of £500.00 (Prize) to the winner who shall be the participant who correctly forecasts the name of the town, village, beauty-spot or point of interest where you think Brian will be when he stops walking at 12.00 noon on 5th March, 2020. (No counties can be named).   In the event that more than one person correctly forecasts the destination the prize will be shared between them.  For the avoidance of doubt a county, country or district cannot be named as the destination.

6. Entry into the Sweepstake: Entry into the Sweepstake is offered to any person resident in the United Kingdom who is at least eighteen years of age.  To enter the Sweepstake each participant must complete an entry form stating their full name postal and e-mail address and telephone number and the name of the Destination.    An entry fee of £1.00 must be paid for each entry.    Participants may submit as many entries as they wish.

7. Improper Conduct: The Administrator in its sole discretion may disqualify any participant and refuse to award the prize if any participant engages in any conduct which the administrator deems to be improper unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the Sweepstake or detrimental to the other participants.   Any winner or winners agree to refund the Prize or any part of the Prize that a winner may have won as a result of such improper conduct.

8. Integrity of The Sweepstake: If the Sweepstake is not capable of running as planned for any reason or cause which the Administrator in its sole opinion has reason to believe will affect the administration fairness integrity or proper running of the Sweepstake the Administrator reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel terminate modify or suspend the Sweepstake in such manner as the Administrator may deem fair and appropriate.
